From 2020, the Iona Sports Club has entered teams into the Port Macquarie Basketball Association competitions held at the Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium.

Registration

Players need to register online through Basketball NSW in addition to registering with the Port Macquarie Basketball Association (PMBA).

Once Iona Basketball teams are entered into PMBA competitions, Team registration links will be provided to all players.

Active Kids vouchers can be used to offset the costs associated with registration.

GAMES/COMPETITION
Details of the competition will be provided soon. All players will be expected to check the PMBA webpage regularly for information regarding the draws.

TRAINING
Training will be held at the Iona Sports Stadium on Tuesday afternoons from 5.00pm further information will be provided by Coaches.

UNIFORM
Players are required to purchase an Iona Basketball singlet for use in games at the cost of $35. They can be purchased direct from Iona Sports Club. Players will be required to wear black shorts and appropriate footwear.

Junior (U10 Boys and Girls)

Port Macquarie Basketball Association runs a junior program called Aussie Hoops for U10 players (boys and girls) on Thursdays from 4.15pm to 5.15pm.

Aussie Hoops is the official Basketball Australia introductory program for 6 to 10-year-olds. Aussie Hoops is a national program which provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve on the court and reap the rewards of skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social cooperation and participation in sport.
